What Blue Trails is

Blue Trails is an app for divers. It does four things, and they feed each other:

Your underwater adventure deserves to be remembered

It remembers your dives. A digital logbook with depth, time, gas, conditions, the wildlife you saw and the photos you took — logged by hand or imported from your dive computer, and verifiable by the instructor or buddy who was there.

It keeps you connected. Your buddies are in the app: their profiles, their dives, a chat, and an emergency card you can pull up when it matters.

It shows you where to dive next. A world map of dive sites, dive centers and what other divers are doing, plus trip plans you can join or organise.

It's a place to share. Photos and videos from the water, in a feed made of divers rather than of everybody.

What it costs

Blue Trails is free to use. The free plan (Plankton) includes the whole logbook and 100 MB of media storage; paid plans lift the storage limit, remove ads and add media tools. See Subscription.

What you can do without an account

You can look around — browse the feed, explore the map — but logging dives, connecting with buddies and keeping certifications need an account, which is free. See Create your account.
