Create a service

Open Offerings › Services and use + New Service.

You are not asked whether this is a service or a rental: the door you came in through already answered that. A rental is created from its own screen.

The basics

  1. Title — what divers see, e.g. "Guided fun dives (boat)".
  2. Linked service — the category, from the Blue Trails list. The picker opens with a Most used group holding the five most common ones, and the rest are listed alphabetically by category. This is what powers discovery, so it is worth getting right.
  3. Price and its unit — per person, per dive, per course or flat. The currency comes from your account, set once in Preferences.
  4. Duration and Requirements — optional. Requirements can ask for a minimum certification, an age or a number of logged dives.

Then give it a season

A service with no schedule sells nothing: it never reaches the calendar. In the same wizard you link it to a season and set the days, the departure times and the capacity of each one — that is covered in Seasons and schedules.

If you run the same thing all year, pick Always — no season instead of inventing a season that covers the whole calendar.

The first departure defaults to 09:00

And a second one proposes the next hour rather than repeating the first, so loading a morning and an afternoon departure is two clicks, not forty of scrolling.

Active vs inactive

Every service has an Active switch. Turn it off to park something seasonal without deleting it. An inactive service stops producing new departures; what is already on the calendar stays.

Editing later

Open any service to change its price, its details or its schedule. Changes apply going forward — departures already on the calendar keep what they had unless you edit them.

The Seasons column tells you at a glance whether this is selling right now: the current season first, colour-coded by status, the rest folded into a +N.
