A rental is the gear you lend out: full equipment, a wetsuit, a torch, a dive computer. It is deliberately much simpler than a service.

What a rental carries

• A title and a category.
• A reference price and its unit — per unit or per day.
• The equipment it is made of.

That is all. A rental has no season, no departure times and no capacity, because none of those mean anything for it: we do not track stock. How many wetsuits you own is your business, and the portal will never stop a booking because it thinks you ran out.

How a rental reaches a booking

It does not appear on the calendar. It attaches to a diver on a departure as part of what they need, and from there it lands on the receipt.

Per day is charged once per day

Gear priced per day is charged once per client per day, no matter how many activities that diver has that day. Ten days with equipment is ten charges, not thirty. See Charge a client.

Which unit to pick

• Per unit for something taken once for one outing — a torch for a night dive.
• Per day for anything a diver keeps for the day, which is most full-kit rentals.
